The Director of Sponsored Programs is responsible for the development, management, and oversight of the pursuit and implementation of sponsored programs in support of the initiatives of the Baptist University College of Osteopathic Medicine (BUCOM) related to the research strategic plan. - Provides effective direction and mentorship to research development, contracts, and grants personnel in support of BUCOM faculty, administration, BHSU, and BMHCC.
- Ensures institutional compliance with federal and other sponsor regulations governing research grant and contract administration.
- Assists BUCOM principal investigators in successful proposal portfolio preparation.
- Champions research development, proposal and budget development, review, and approval.
