Register for Black Men In White Coats: Building Diverse Health Care Professionals

Explore your future in medicine. The Black Men in White Coats program gives participants “permission to be great.” It is designed to inspire middle school, high school, college and graduate students interested in pursuing health care careers in medicine or administrative support. From physicians, pharmacists, respiratory therapists and advanced practice practitioners to medical information technology, marketing, legal services and human resources, there are many options available to students.

During this free, in-person event, students will be introduced to health care professionals, job opportunities, mentoring programs and opportunities to work with community organizations to advance their health care careers. Participants will have the opportunity to speak one-on-one with health care professionals, participate in live lab demonstrations and learn how to access resources available in their community.

Mark your calendars for the sixth annual Black Men in White Coats, which will be held on April 6, 2024.

If you have questions about this event, please send an email to annmarie.wallace@bmhcc.orgabby.brann@bmhcc.org or lilian.nyindodo@baptistu.edu.

Participants in the program will have the opportunity to meet leaders in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, and gain practical assistance in expanding their education and reaching their goals through monthly sessions with Baptist Health Sciences University.

This event will be held on October 23rd at 6 pm on the Baptist Health Sciences University campus. Register here by clicking the Register button.

God's Blessings

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever admirable –if anything is excellent or praiseworthy think about such things.
