Like my father before me, I chose BHSU College of Nursing for my nursing education. Here, I’m known as a person, not just a number, and supported by professors who truly care about my success. I’ve formed meaningful connections with peers who will become lifelong friends, and I’m grateful to be part of a close-knit community that encourages me every step of the way.

From orientation through graduation and beyond, Baptist will always be a part of my journey. I’m proud to be a BHSU nursing student!

One of the most impactful aspects of the program has been the DNP project, which allowed me to apply evidence-based practice to real challenges I encounter in acute care settings. The guidance and mentorship from faculty, combined with a supportive, faith-centered environment, encouraged reflection, resilience, and professional growth.

Overall, this program has shaped me into a more thoughtful clinician and emerging leader, better prepared to advocate for patients, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and contribute to meaningful improvements in acute care practice.
