Professional Licensure General Disclosure

Baptist Health Sciences University Nursing and Allied Health programs meet the requirements for state professional licensure (where applicable) and certification in the state of Tennessee. While the Nursing and Allied Health programs at Baptist University are designed to meet national certification requirements, there can be variability in other states’ requirements for professional licensure.

Professional licensure and/or certification requirements may change on a continuing basis. To comply with federal regulation 34 CFR § 668.43, Baptist Health Sciences University has made its best effort to determine whether our curriculum meets each state’s educational requirements for licensure. We also strongly advise students to contact the State’s licensure office (if applicable) or professional agency to review all requirements imposed by the state in which they intend to practice upon graduation. Students may also contact the department and/or program director who oversees their academic program of interest for additional information about licensure and certification requirements.
