| SUR205 | Applied Pharmacology & Anesthesia | 2 | This course introduces the fundamentals of pharmacology as they relate to the surgical setting. This includes the following topics: antibiotics, diuretics, fluids, and various anesthetic agents. In addition, basic concepts of microbiology are presented. Proper medication handling, labeling, and administration are introduced, along with the basics of patient monitoring. |
