This is a Level 1 course in the DNP program. Expands upon previously learned pharmacological principles needed for advanced practice nursing with a focus on pharmacotherapeutics for all drug classifications and clinical decision-making skills essential for safe and effective pharmacotherapy intervention. Introduces prescriptive authority for the advanced practice nurse.
