Capstone

This course serves as a culminating capstone experience in which students are expected to apply knowledge and skills gained from their undergraduate experience as a whole and from the program specifically to solve a current healthcare management problem. This course provides students with the opportunity to demonstrate their ability to think critically, to synthesize information from multiple areas of healthcare practice, to integrate content across the multiple skills and practices areas expected of healthcare managers, to work in a team, and to transition from student to practicing professional. Prerequisite: Senior standing and completion of all HCM courses except HCM 395 Internship and HCM 485 Senior Seminar. Co-requisite: HCM 480 Strategic Management and Leadership.
