Clinical Seminar

This course is designed to prepare the students for career planning and employment. Topics will include HIPAA, ethics, professionalism, professional career development, interpersonal and interdisciplinary communication and team building. The students will complete the applications forms for the national certification examination and the Tennessee Medical Laboratory Board. Educational methodologies used to train/educate users will be included. Prerequisites: MLS 301, MLS 306, MLS 311, MLS 315, MLS 326, MLS 330, MLS 335, MLS 340, MLS 400, MLS 405, MLS 410, and admission into the MLS program. Corequisite: Must enroll in all MLS courses offered in the trimester.
