Foundations Of Diag Med Sono

This introductory course offers an overview of ultrasound applications, sonographic techniques, and examination protocols. Normal anatomy and physiology of multiple organs and organ systems will be covered, as well as the normal sonographic appearance and sonographic examinations of these organs. Two hours lecture, three hours lab per week. Pre-requisite: AHS 202, DMS 300, BIO 301, BIO 320.
