Focuses on the application of healthcare economics and finance theory, including analysis of factors influencing systems, structure, and process. Skills in financial management, including budget preparation and tailoring budgets to changes in health policy at the local, state, and national level are examined. Competency in utilizing and appllying finance tools and measures for analysis and reporting are developed through use of case studies common to advanced practice nursing.
