Integrated Sciences
This integrated foundational science course brings together key principles from biochemistry, genetics, histology, physiology, and pharmacology to develop a cohesive understanding of normal human structure and function, regulation of homeostasis, and pathophysiologic basis of disease. This course emphasizes application and integration of concepts using active learning strategies such as team-based learning, peer instruction, and integrated assessments to support long-term retention.
