Musculoskeletal System

Examination of the structure-function relationship of the musculoskeletal system. Anatomy, embryology, histology, and physiology will provide the foundation for clinical application of pathology, pathophysiology, and pharmacology. Related topics of microbiology, trauma, and pharmacological toxicity will be integrated. Application of knowledge will be assessed using active learning during lectures, team-based learning, and peer instruction, and through integrated assessments.
