Nuclear Physics and Instrumentation

Study of nuclear physics including radionuclide production. Study of the components and performance characteristics of nuclear detectors including statistics of counting, energy spectrum analysis, and theory of processing images, and performance criteria including quality control procedures. Course includes two credit hours theory and one credit hour lab.
