PCAG Synthesis Practicum II

This is a Level 3 course in the DNP program and the second of two clinical residencies for the preparation of adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner for the practice doctorate. The focus is on the synthesis of the leadership skills needed by the advanced practice nurse. This residency enhances the student’s ability to apply theories, standards of practice and evidence- based research and scholarship to decrease risk and improve health care outcomes for selected patient populations. Must be taken last trimester. Pre-requisite: NSG 867
