Perspectives On Healthy Aging

Focuses on healthy aging, health promotion, and minimizing the loss of independence associated with functional decline and illness. Integrates critical thinking and clinical reasoning to address the unique aspects of physical and psychosocial age-related changes of older adults. Communication and collaboration among the interprofessional team members are emphasized for patient-centered care of older adults and families. Prerequisite: NSG 321 (Traditional, pre-licensure students only).
