Phys Princ of Ultrasound&Instru II

Continuation of Physical Principles of Ultrasound and Instrumentation I. The course focuses on beam and image artifacts, arterial and venous hemodynamics, Doppler effects, system performance testing, bioeffects, and advanced concepts. Emphasizes the different uses of sonography in the clinical setting and operation of equipment. Two hours lecture, three hours lab per week. Prerequisite: DMS 436.
