Introduces the statistical efficacy of MS Excel for use in the construction common operational and financial models found in today's healthcare settings. Data sets specific to practical health care operations secarios, such as DRG codes, lengths to stay, monthly visits, Medicare/Medicaid charges, etc., will be analyzed and manipulated using MS Excel as an opportunity for students to synthesize the quantitative concepts and methods covered.
