BHSU Alumni Lunch at Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto

Hartley with Brian Hogan

Baptist Health Sciences University held a luncheon at Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto on Tuesday, April 4. The luncheon, catered by the Tower Café, was held to thank Baptist graduates, workers, current students, and those who work with future healers for their dedication to the Baptist family. The aim was to provide a place where everyone could rediscover their love of healthcare while reconnecting with one another.

Brian Hogan, CEO and Baptist Alumnus, expressed gratitude and encouragement to current students. “You can be the CEO of a large hospital if you work hard and put your mind to it…” Hogan states, “…a lot of my best memories and the things that I have done were definitely at the Baptist College.”

The BHSU mascot, Hartley, made an appearance at the lunch. For many of the alumni, it was the first time they had ever seen the mascot in person. The 54 participants left with branded BHSU Alumni t-shirts and drinkware provided by BHSU Alumni Association.

Thank you to the sponsors Baptist DeSoto Administration, Human Resources, Marketing, and Clinical Nurse Resident Program.

God's Blessings

But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.  They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
