As we begin the spring semester, Baptist Health Sciences University proudly recognizes the leadership achievements and key transitions within the Baptist University College of Osteopathic Medicine (BUCOM).

Larissa Collier, PhD

Congratulations to Larissa Collier, PhD, on her appointment as Assistant Dean of Assessment & Accreditation.

An Associate Professor of Neuroscience & Anatomy, Dr. Collier brings a strong passion for assessment and accreditation to this new administrative role. She is eager to collaborate with faculty and staff across BUCOM as the college continues its work toward achieving full accreditation in 2028.

Lilian Nyindodo, PhD

Congratulations to Lilian Nyindodo, PhD, on her appointment as Assistant Dean of OMS-1 & OMS-2.

Dr. Nyindodo has served as Chair of Biomedical Sciences since March 2023, where she played a pivotal role in establishing and refining core processes that support the first two years of the medical curriculum. In her new role, she looks forward to working closely with OMS-1 and OMS-2 students, providing guidance and support throughout these foundational years of their medical education.

Elly Riley, DO

Congratulations to Elly Riley, DO, on her new role as Assistant Dean of OMS-4.

Dr. Riley has served as Chair of Clinical Sciences since August 2023 and has been instrumental in advancing curriculum development to prepare students for success during their clinical years. Passionate about osteopathic medicine, she looks forward to supporting students as they navigate clinical rotations and prepare for residency match.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to David Klink, DO, Senior Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs, who retired from BUCOM in December 2025. As one of the university’s founding faculty members, Dr. Klink’s leadership and dedication have left a lasting impact on the clinical education and training of our students.

With this transition, we are pleased to welcome Kimberly (Kim) Perry, DO, to the Baptist Health Sciences University community. Dr. Perry joins BUCOM as Senior Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs, bringing valuable experience and leadership that will continue to strengthen clinical education programs and support student success
