An Interdisciplinary Studies Minor offers students the opportunity to choose a combination of courses that are relevant to meeting their professional goals and enhancing learning beyond their chosen major. Students are encouraged to work with their academic advisor to select courses concentrated in their area of interest.

Requirements

  • Completion of the minor requires a minimum of 15 credit hours from the specified list of courses
    • Included in these 15 credit hours is HSC 360 Interdisciplinary Seminar (1 credit hour) which is required of all students
    • No more than 7 transfer credit hours can be applied to the minor
    • If a course is required in a student’s declared major, it cannot also apply toward the minor
  • Courses may be taken concurrently with the degree requirements, assuming there is no scheduling conflict

   All minor courses must be completed prior to graduation

   The Interdisciplinary Studies Minor cannot be awarded without the completion of a Bachelor’s Degree from Baptist Health Sciences University

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever admirable –if anything is excellent or praiseworthy think about such things.
