Baptist Health Sciences University and Baptist Memorial Health Care held a grand opening for the BHSU Career Center on Monday, Sept. 25. The new on-campus center allows Baptist recruiters to connect weekly with students to help them explore job opportunities available while they study or after graduation.

Several students attended the grand opening, spoke with Baptist team members and enjoyed snacks.

A representative from Baptist will meet with students at the Career Center, located on the Campus Hub 2nd floor in front of the elevators, on Mondays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.

The Career Center will be utilized by Baptist Employment Services, the new Baptist Center for Career Development, and navigator-talent delivery team members from Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto and Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis.

“Having a Career Center on the BHSU campus will contribute to the continued growth and performance of Baptist,” said Donna Robinson, director of talent acquisition and allied health professionals with Baptist Employment Services. “We are truly blessed to have BHSU as a part of the system. They are committed to excellence and offer academic programs that develop quality health care professionals.”
